Mixed Style Dance for Adults

This six-week class will introduce several dance techniques as a "sample pack" for adults. All material will assume no previous experience. The class is designed for beginners and re-beginners and will emphasize practices that protect joints while building balance, strength, and creativity. We'll also learn a bit about the history of ballet, jazz, and modern, including how the styles have influenced one another.

TIME: 4:00pm
DATES: Tuesdays, Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 18, 25 (no class Nov. 11), Dec. 2 and 9.

Dancers should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to work in either socks or dance shoes (ballet slippers, jazz lace-ups/slip-ons/sneakers).
