Serving our Island Community

  • Peaks Island Community Food Pantry

New Brackett Church hosts the Food Pantry, which is supported by many Peaks Island  individuals and organizations.

The Food Pantry is open Mondays from 3:30-5pm and its mission is to provide food assistance to island neighbors.

For more information or to make a donation, go to the  Peaks Island Community Food Pantry website.

If you have questions or would like to arrange a food drop-off or donation pick-up, contact Susan Hanley at 207-332-2443.

  • Emergency Warming, Cooling and Internet Center

New Brackett Church is able to provide a safe haven during times of prolonged power outage or in the event of excessive heat or cold. Should Spectrum Internet service be out, the Church offers access to the Consolidated Internet system. If possible, announcements will be made via Next Door or PI List; otherwise, signage will be posted.

You may call Rev Will with questions. Also, you may wish to review the Emergency Shelter Policy.
