Our Whole Lives (O.W.L.) Parent/Caregiver and Child Orientation

Our Whole Lives (O.W.L.) is a comprehensive sexuality education program for students in Kindergarten and first grades. The course will include 8 sessions and will begin with an orientation for parents, with regular, transparent communication throughout the course.

This program will be led by two trained teachers:
Margaret Myers (executive director of the Peaks Island Children's Workshop and author of The Fight for Sex Ed: The Century Long Battle Between Truth and Doctrine, Beacon Press, 2025.) and
Tyler Schwaller (Director of Sexual Ethics for the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women of the United Methodist Church)"

Parents/caregivers are required to attend the first session.

DATE NIGHT!

New Brackett Church volunteers will watch your children, ages infant through grade 5, while you and your partner enjoy a special night out. Date Night runs from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Activities include a kid-friendly dinner, games, arts and crafts and a movie. There is no fee for Date Night, however donations are gratefully accepted.

Pre-registration is mandatory, to ensure we have enough adult volunteers. The event is limited to 20 children.

DATE “NIGHT”!

New Brackett Church volunteers will watch your children, ages infant through grade 5, while you and your partner enjoy a special afternoon out. This Date “Night” will run from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Activities include a kid-friendly lunch, games, arts and crafts and a movie.
There is no fee for Date Night, however donations are gratefully accepted.

Pre-registration is mandatory, to ensure we have enough adult volunteers. The event is limited to 20 children.
