Preparing for Summer - a Conversation for Peaks Island

Peaks Island is a beautiful place to live and, in the Summer, it is a BUSY place to live. What's it like having visitors in the neighborhood just about every day, joyful vacationers renting golf carts, visitors who don't understand how the ferry works, people asking for directions, and the other unique realities of living in a tourist destination?

The New Brackett Church Right Relations Team has designed an interactive community workshop to help us do the important self-awareness work of preparing for the summer. Learn and share strategies and practices that will help us all have a wonderful season together.

This workshop provides some simple tools through which people may reexamine and retrieve positive aspects of past religious connections. It addresses the affective elements of these connections, rather than dogma, and is designed to provide both group sharing and private exploration using journal writing exercises.

The workshop consists of five separate sessions on Sundays in June, each lasting 90 minutes. For more information, please email newbrackettchurch@gmail.com.

Registration is required and is limited to 12 participants. To register, please click here.
